Czech Egg Spread

When Easter is over, dozens of eggs can be boiled and we just need to eat them. So in this time, literally everyone is making egg spread. To be honest, I do it all year round for breakfast or brunch, because I love it.

Ingredients for egg spread

  • 4 hard boiled eggs
  • 100g yogurt
  • 200g cream cheese (gervais)
  • 2 teaspoons mustard
  • salt, pepper
  • chive for decoration

Peel the eggs off and separate the yolks and mash them in the bowl with a fork. Then add yogurt, creme cheese, and mustard to them and mix thoroughly all together. Taste it with salt and pepper. Cut the whites (I prefer small pieces) and mix all together. Chop the chive and sprinkle the spread.

For decoration (or taste) you can also add radish slices, diced roasted bacon, or pickles.
